It's beginning to look a lot like Christmas...

Thanksgiving weekend we went with some of my family down to the Temple grounds for the play "Savior of the World", and saw all the temple lights afterwards. What a way to start out Christmas with the REAL meaning of christmas.

We got our tree the next week....WOW it was 15 feet high! The kids were over that Tuesday night and decorated it (we used both mine and Steves ornaments and still didn't have enough to cover the tree, but it still looked good anyway. We'll get new ornaments next year.

Country Christmas

Every year Steve has a booth at the Country Christmas Expo for his business "S &S Barns and Buildings" down in Las Vegas for the NFR. This was his booth. While down there (Dec 3rd-14th), we worked the Expo and did a little christmas shopping. Some friends and family were able to come down and spend time with us going to the National Finals Rodeo and shop.

While at the Expo we ran into Dr. Webber from the TV show Grey's Anatomy. He was really nice and we were both surprised he was a cowboy.

For my brithday on the 13th we went to see "Phantom of the Opera" at the Venetian, It was AWESOME!!! We also stopped by the wax museum for some pictures.....

My BIG Surprise!

Steve through me a surprise 40th Birthday Party thanksgiving weekend because my family was all here! I was so surprised that I made a fool of myself (nothing new). The cake had black icing and everyone had black lips, teeth and tongues when they are done eating. IT WAS AWESOME, my husband is so good to me, I am so lucky. My sister Jill made a video for everyone to watch of all my years growing up, it made me cry... (I don't actually turn 40 until Dec 13th)

We had Thanksgiving at Saddle Up(Party Station) and watched "Journey to the Center of the Earth" afterwards on the big screen. It was great to see everyone who came up from St George, Parowan and Manti.

Mills Family Thanksgiving

Every year the Mills Family have their Thanksgiving Dinner the Saturday before Thanksgiving so that everyone can go to their other families for Thanksgiving. This past Saturday (the 22nd) was the big day. We all enjoyed seeing each other and had awesome dinner, afterwards we all watched the BIG GAME (Utah-BYU)on the big screen.

I have a lot to be THANKFUL for this Thanksgiving...

I have been so blessed with a wonderful husband, 3 awesome step-kids with one on the way, great parents, my 5 fabulous sisters and 1 brother. I have so many wonderful friends that are truly great friends, I am so THANKFUL!

HaLLoWeeN NiGhT!

While Steve went over to see the kids for trick or treating (Kelsey was the Bride of Franenstein and Jake was Obama), I stayed home and handed out candy to all the kids. Earlier that day I dressed up in my Witch costume (and evil contacts) and delivered sugar cookies to all of Steve's employess.


























My sister Kim brought her daughters Taryn & Megan (with some friends) over to trick or treat, they ended up in the living room when they were done to exchange candy they didn't want... funny kids!

Last Friday (24th) we took the kids to Lagoon's "Frightmares", and Saturday we all went to Odyssey Dance Company's "Thriller".

Our long awaited HONEYMOON to MAUI!

We left for Maui Oct 9th and came home on the 19th. Besides laying by the pool everyday with poolside service we kept ourselves quite busy!! We rented a car so we could tour the Island. We took the road to Hana (wow, what a a trip that was, it was only 50 miles but it took us 3 hours because of the winding roads and one lane bridges and there are a lot of bridges). What a beautiful drive. We also took a boat out to Molokini Crater for some snorkeling, where we swam with the tropical fish, turtles and we also saw a shark right below us.

Steve and I went for a helicopter ride over the Island of Maui and Molokai to see the beautiful waterfalls and other sites. We were also able to fly over to Oahu for the day to visit Pearl Harbor and tour the USS Missouri, wow pretty cool! WE HAD THE BEST TIME AND HAD A HARD TIME COMING HOME!!!
