Thanksgiving weekend we went with some of my family down to the Temple grounds for the play "Savior of the World", and saw all the temple lights afterwards. What a way to start out Christmas with the REAL meaning of christmas.
We got our tree the next week....WOW it was 15 feet high! The kids were over that Tuesday night and decorated it (we used both mine and Steves ornaments and still didn't have enough to cover the tree, but it still looked good anyway. We'll get new ornaments next year.
