Jakes Big Surprise
Part of Jakes Christmas present was a surprise trip to Vegas for the Maaco Bowl to see the Utah Utes play. Jake thought he was just going down to pick up a trailer for Steve's work and then watch the game at the hotel on a big screen. Steve's friend Larry Benson and his son went down too. Not only did they have tickets to the game but they were on the second row right in the middle and had passes to go on the field, JAKE LOVED IT! It's too bad the Utes lost the game, but they still had fun.

Brown Family Christmas Party
The Christmas Party this year was in St George instead of Parowan since my parents moved to Brian Head, there is no longer enough room for everyone. We had the party at Heathers church house. We all ate, the kids played games and we opened presents. Afterwards the men and some of my sisters started up a basketball game since the party was in the gym. We had a great time as always and a BIG THANK YOU to my mother for always making our parties so fun a special.
Before the Party we took Bella and Kelsey to the mall to see Santa

Las Vegas / National Finals Rodeo
We were only home 3 days from our cruise when we started packing again to fly to Vegas for the Country Christmas Expo. Steve's business has a booth there. We stayed at the Palazoo and WOW was it nice. The Expo was in the same hotel which made it nice to walk back and forth to our room, especially with Bella.

Bella with Callie and Partrick. Patrick is Steve Werk's son and Callie is his girlfriend.

Thanksgiving
We were in Jamaica on Thanksgiving Day, the people were funny they called our ship a Rich Mans Hotel. It was weird being in a place where they did not celebrate Thanksgiving, it was just a normal day for them.
Thanksgiving dinner was YUMMY!
It was nice not to have to make dinner or CLEAN UP!

Our Thanksgiving 7 Day Cruise
For Thanksgiving we went on a 7 day Cruise with my Parents, Steve's Mom, and my sister Kim and her family and mother-in-law.. My sister lives in San Antonio Texas so the Cruise went out of Galveston. We had Thanksgiving with Steve's family on November 20th and later that afternoon we boarded a plan for Houston and then took a transport to Galveston where we stayed the night. We boarded the ship the next day at 1:00. Our first stop was Cozumel, then Grand Cayman Island and then Jamaica. We all had so much fun swimming, seeing sights, playing cards, eating lots of Ice Cream (Bella calls it meem) and eating and eating. Towards the end of the cruise the ships Captain came over the intercom and said that someone was hurt and in need of blood, anyone with A+ blood to come down and donate, so I went down, they had enough blood by the time they got to me so they dismissed me, later that day we went back to our cabin and had a big plate of chocolate covered strawberries waiting for us from the cruise director for coming to donate. They had to slow the ship down later that day so a helicopter could land on the ship and pick up the hurt passenger (what an expensive trip it was for that person). The last day of our cruise we hit a storm, the boat was rocking pretty good so most people stayed in their cabins from being motion sick....so did we! Our transport showed up the next day to pick us up and take us back to Houston to catch our plane home IT WAS A LIMO, it was the last car they had so they sent it with no extra charge. Besides the last day we had a GREAT time! The best part was spending it with family!
Bella loved all the towels they made into animals, This on is a bunny.
A bat...
Steve is on the top left and I am the one going into the water,
it was very hard to climb that slippery thing!
They had an Ice Skating Rink on the ship and Ice Shows, Steve's mom was picked from the audience to be the Queen during one of the performances
